  • Rusty (Mustard) - ADOPTED!

Rusty (Mustard) is available for adoption!!

Look at these awesome notes from his foster:

Rusty is approximately 2 years old and 35 lbs.

Rusty Absolutely loves playing with other dogs and reads them well. It's a delight to watch him play with them.

He never goes far from me and watches OFTEN where I am even when in mid-play.

QUIET. I have heard him bark twice over the course of the 2 weeks. Once was when I was calling him but the wind had closed the bedroom door on him!

Uses his kennel as his own safe room - when he feels unsafe.

Loves belly-rubs so much that becomes an absolute rag-doll when he gets them. He does sometime wake me up at 3 AM for belly rubs!

Is SO loyal and loving when he finally trusts. He’s slow to warm up to people (just very shy, not reactive or anything).

    Is an awesome leash walker.

    Great in the car.

Knows his 1/2 of the bed and (some what) stays on it AND doesn't move much when sleeping.

He watches everything INTENSELY so learns fast.

Is a PICKY eater. I actually cook him a stew to put over his kibble to make him eat it!

    In CONCLUSION

I am very fond of Rusty and could keep him - except I feel that if he lived with another dog, he would really enjoy that and would also grow in confidence immensely. I also think he would be best with a calm home. Noises scare him.

If you want to meet this gentle, shy, loving boy, send me a message or check us out at https://www.animalrescueteam.ca

He travels well in the car, walks well on leash, and is very loving! Does well at home alone too.

. Come meet Sassy - our newest foster dog!

Sassy is happy to quietly lay at your feet or go for a big walk - or both! Her favourite spot is laying out on the patio and watching the world go by.

She loves meeting new people and new dogs. She’s great in the car and has polite house manners. She’s interested in cats, she can come in quick and a bit excited/friendly, and her foster thinks she would do great with a dog savy cat.

Sassy is approximately 4 years old and rescued from the high kill shelter. She is discovering many new things (like hardwood floors ). She is doing great!!

Special Note from Sassy’s foster mom: Sassy is the sweetest soul and the best girl . She’s well balanced, sweet and loving.
