💗 Sunny Tucker is a ray of sunshine in this sometimes dreary world. He is a dog i think of when i feel tired or discouraged in our rescue work. If we didn’t do this work, he wouldnt be here, and the world needs Sunny Tucker in it.

On our last rescue trip we got a special plea from the shelter staff to please rescue Sunny Tucker before he was euthanized later that week. In a facility that holds 700 dogs, we’ve never gotten a plea to save any one dog in particular.

I watched his shelter video (about a hundred times!). Thankfully a wonderful foster family here stepped up to take him in so we were able to save him.

And now he’s SO ready and SO deserving for his forever home to find him. Whomever ends up with Sunny Tucker in their life is lucky indeed!

Sunny Tucker is 35 lbs and approximately 6 years old. He is calm and sweet and loves his poeple. He loves to play and go for hikes too. He lives up to his name and will bring you endless snuggles and joy. He is gentle, patient and social with dogs and people. He is an easy soul to share everyday life with. Unless you’re a squirrel - he loves to chase critters (so maybe no cats please 😉💗)

Introducing 🌱 Fern 🌱 Available for adoption!

🌱 When I saw Fern’s video at the high kill shelter, I welled up with emotion. Although we usually rescue smaller dogs, something inside me knew we had to save her life. When you meet her, you’ll understand. We reached out for help and we are so grateful to her foster family for stepping up so she could be saved.

💗 Fern is gentle and social with people (including kids), dogs and cats. She loves to cuddle and hang out at home, and also loves to hit the trails for adventure. She alerts at the door and then settles. She is full of love and whoever adopts her will be so lucky. 🍀

Fern is approximately 2 years old and 64 lbs. she is spayed/vaccinated/healthy.

Available for Adoption - Trixie!

Those ears!!!

Trixie is a delightful 1 year old girl. Rescued together - Her sister Lily was just adopted and now it’s Trixie’s turn!

Although quite shy at first (which won’t last as she settles in - she bonded to her foster mom in less than a day). Trixie loves to snuggle and will be your loyal and loving companion. She also loves to play and is a bit mischievous at times!!

She’s making good progress on potty training too!

Come meet our newest foster dog: Little Luna

Luna is a little ray of sunshine She is a quiet laid back little girl who absolutely loves to cuddle. She is very happy sitting in your lap or curled up next to you on the couch. She is approximately 3-5 years old, and 13 lbs.

Luna walks well on leash and likes her walks. She is well potty trained . She is shy meeting new people right now but getting more confident every day. she bonds quickly and would love to get a lot of love. Luna would be best suited for a calm quiet home. She is good with cats and has lived with other dogs.

Come meet our newest foster dog Gil

Gil is a sweet 3 year old black and white Chihuahua with low-medium energy, weighing only 8lbs. He LOVES to cudde and snuggle.

He is friendly with all people including children He can feel a bit intimidated when meeting new people for the first time. Gil walks very well on leash, loves to follow his human around, and likes to play fetch.

He can usually be found cuddling with his human during the day or under a cover at night.

He gets excited and barks at the cats (but runs and hides if the cat hisses or swats) so would do best in a no cat home or a home with dog saavy cats.
